Also, fuel shortages affected the electricity supply, the use of generators and most importantly transportation. The daily life of ordinary people has been touched and negatively affected. Also, the Israelis have been tightening the Gaza crossings. Signs of the deteriorating status include a reduction in elective surgery at hospitals by 50% due to shortage of fuel and medicines, nearly half of the essential drugs at the zero stock…loss of hope, desperation and frustration dominate the general picture.”
